Abstract

This research evaluated the nutritional awareness level among Bachelor of Physical Education (BPED)  students in one of the universities in a highly urbanized city in the central Philippines during the first semester of the school year 2024–2025 . Through a descriptive-comparative design, the research made use of 137 students who were randomly selected through stratified sampling. Self-made validated and reliable questionnaire was used to measure Nutrition Knowledge, Nutrition Attitude, and Dietary Practices. Results indicated that students expressed a high level of nutritional awareness in all areas. Significant variations were noted on the basis of age, gender, average family monthly income, and year level. Results underscore the requirement for focused interventions to increase critical nutrition literacy and foster more healthy dietary habits among younger and low-income students.
